Format list
Format List allows you to acquire specific formats in a document. Format List creates a new FrameMaker document using template FmtLst_D.fm and enters the format settings and values in table form in the new document.
The system saves the document as document name FMTLST.fm.
You now proceed as follows:
1. Activate the document file (not a book) whose formats you want to acquire.
2. In the FINALYSER menu, choose item Format List.
3. After this, the plug-in fills out the table it created in the template as follows:
• Page layout (from menus Format/Page Layout/Format... and Format/Page Layout/Column Layout...)
• Paragraph design (from menu Format/Paragraphs/Designer...)
• Character design (from menu Format/Characters/Designer...)
• System variables (from menu Special/Variable...)
• User variables (from menu Special/Variable...)
• Cross references (from menu Special/Cross-Reference...)
4. When the procedure is finished the system displays the message:Format list successfully completed! .
